Perspective filter in Affinity Photo

Perspective filter

The perspective filter in Affinity Photo (from Serif) is a super powerful transformation tool for all kinds of images. The perspective filter can be used with the background image as well as any number of layers in Affinity Photo. The filter can be found via the filter menu and distort category. The tool can be used in a single plane perspective as well as dual plane. The tool can be used to distort images etc in countless ways as well as just add a subtle nudge to a layer that is slightly out of perspective to the background or other layers. The perspective for the layers is controlled via the handles while the filter is active. The perspective filter is  available as a live filter layer as well as a standard filter effect.  If you want to use the perspective filter with blending modes then you will have to duplicate the existing layer. If you use the live filter version then the blending modes and opacity are pre-included. The live filter layer can be added to all kinds of layers as well as applied to all layers below.

You can use them as is, of course, and simply add them as a pixel fill or path or shape layer Check out the video below relating to modifying a spiral shape using the direct selection tool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRLSRVc4_kA So how can you edit them using the direct selection tool. You can then save that selection as a CSH file and use them in future projects. http://www.graphicxtras.com/spirals.htm On the spirals page you can find a lo
